A few weeks ago I went scouting for my next photoshoot location. Along the way, I stopped by a black owned cafe to grab a ginger peach tea and people watched at a local bakery. In that moment I had to get out of my own head and look around to see how beautiful life really is. These photos were taken down Fells Point in Baltimore, Md. I've been in this area hundreds of times, but I never really experienced it's beauty. On this day, I took my time. I sat by the water, smelled the flowers, and saw the beautiful sky and clouds. A peaceful and serene memory that I will always cherish. I was able to walk and talk to myself freely. I was able to visit local shops that I never knew existed. Once I left and headed back home, I let out a big breath. A breath of freedom, and sense of serenity. When I wear white it makes me feel fresh, clean, and peaceful so I knew that I had to shoot here.
